Nancy Mukami Nthiga

She for Trees

Nancy Nthiga is a passionate conservationist whose line of work is in landscape and forestry restoration in Kenya through regenerative agroforestry. Her passion led her to start She for Trees in 2017 which is an organization that works in rural communities with women farmers to empower them both environmentally and financially. For each farmer, tree seedlings are given to them at no cost dependent on the size of their farm and these are grown together with other cash crops through the integration of permaculture and agroecology.
