Peter has trained over 200 rangers on the use of the Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool (SMART) for monitoring wildlife and anti-poaching patrols in Cross River National Park (CRNP). He has led numerous patrols in CRNP leading to the arrest of over 120 poachers, and the seizure of more than 12,000 wire snares. His work with local communities surrounding CRNP currently targets 400 households to promote sustainable cocoa farming and to reduce deforestation.
