Sarobidy has engaged with stakeholders in Madagascar, Kenya, Gabon and Scotland to understand conservation conflicts, such as conflicts generated by elephant crop-foraging in Gabon, and conflicts between forest clearing for swidden agriculture and forest conservation in Madagascar and Kenya. She has developed and played interactive games with 750 farmers to understand the conditions under which they are more likely to support conservation interests.
