Sharnay has been involved with work in education and awareness through all aspects of her work from hosting lessons, guiding visitors through the centre, and selling eco-friendly merchandise from their gift shop. She also assists with hands-on work rehabilitating injured seabirds at SANCCOB’s hospital. Sharnay currently has four education projects with different funders that aim at creating awareness through hosting lessons and activities with learners from special needs schools and under-resourced schools in Cape Town.
